KVKK, as the host of the GPA 2022, participated in the GPA Executive Committee Meeting on 23 November 2021 for the first time. Executive Committee is responsible for managing and representing the Global Privacy Assembly, where more than 130 data protection authorities are represented globally.

The 67th Executive Committee Meeting was held virtually with the attendance of Heads of the Data Protection Authorities of Germany, Australia and Morocco, and it was chaired by the new Chair of Mexican Personal Data Protection Authority (INAI).

In the Meeting, INAI representatives provided information regarding the GPA 2021 held by Mexico, and in line with the meeting agenda, the President Commissioner of KVKK gave a speech introducing himself and our Authority, as a new member of the Committee.
