KVKK participated in the 56th Forum of Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities (APPA) as observer Established by the privacy authorities of the Asia Pacific region, the APPA Forum convenes twice a year and holds consultative meetings among members in the field of personal data protection.

Within the scope of the 56th Forum, which was held online and hosted by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, Canada (OIPC) in this year between 30 November - 2 December 2021; presentations and discussions were held by the representatives of members, guests from other authorities, academicians and industry on the subjects of "Enabling cross border data flows", "Guidance and enforcement", "Virtual health care" and "The Covid-19 pandemic".
