The 30th European Conference of Data Protection Authorities (Spring Conference) was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 19-20 May 2022 with the participation of representatives of Data Protection Authorities across Europe, to discuss the issues regarding protection of personal data. Our President Prof. Dr. Faruk BİLİR, our Board Member Hasan AYDIN and a Personal Data Protection Expert Ahmet Miraç SÖNMEZ attended the Conference on behalf of our Authority.

The Conference was hosted by the Personal Data Protection Authority of Croatia (AZOP). At the Conference, the report prepared by the “Sub-Working Group for Future of the Conference” was discussed. Also, a Resolution regarding the Convention No 108+ was adopted.

At the Conference, presentations were made on the works carried out by our Authority and cooperation activities with other authorities and the questions addressed were answered. Besides, a bilateral meeting was held with the Croatian Data Protection Authority (AZOP).

The next Conference is decided to be held in Budapest, Hungary.
