Mr. Hasan AYDIN, the Second President of KVKK, and Assistant Personal Data Protection Expert, Gökalp YAVUZ, attended the second annual Privacy Symposium held in Venice, Italy between 17-21 April 2023.

The symposium attracted attendance from data protection authorities, experts from international organizations, universities, and the private sector, who participated as both speakers and listeners. The event hosted multiple parallel sessions that addressed contemporary topics in data protection law, such as Convention 108+, cross-border data transfer, artificial intelligence, certification, smart cities, and surveillance technologies. Over 200 speakers delivered presentations during the sessions.
