A meeting was held between the Personal Data Protection Authority and the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Authority on 15.01.2024 in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Personal Data Protection Commissioner Prof. Dr. Mohd Nazri Bin Kama and his accompanying delegation on behalf of Malaysia and Second President of the Authority Hasan Aydın, Board Member Şaban Baba and Personal Data Protection Assistant Expert Miraç Gür participated in the meeting on behalf of our Authority.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting and a mutual declaration of positive intentions was made.

1. Developing mutual relations,

2. Initiating a work on "Country with Adequate Protection (Safe Country)" for the transfer of personal data between two countries,

3. Establishing a common Forum among the Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation
