KVKK and the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Republic of the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 11 February 2025 to strengthen the cooperation in the field of data protection and facilitate the efforts within this framework.

The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between the two authorities in sharing expertise and best practices on data protection. It also facilitates joint research initiatives in the field of data privacy.
