As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance international collaboration in the field of personal data protection, our Authority conducted a working visit to the State of Qatar on 21-22 January 2025.

During the visit, KVKK President Prof. Dr. Faruk BİLİR met with Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki, President of the Qatar National Cyber Security Agency and Dana Yousif Al-Abdulla, Director of National Cyber Governance and Assurance Affairs.

The KVKK delegation presented comprehensive information about Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Authority's activities, followed by an informative exchange about Qatar's National Cyber Security Agency and its initiatives.

In addition, KVKK President BİLİR paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Mustafa GÖKSU, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Doha, at his office.
